WE'RE:HIRING
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Welcome to the Very Important Company™!
Here, your day to day job as the Direction of HR is to hire new wagies esteemed employees for your company to generate shareholder value while watching out for fake applications.
To manage your company, you interact with objects found on your desk, and with your computer reached by pulling down the projector screen.
Before your first day begins, you'll be able to select your diploma from our wide list of forgeries top universities, each giving a unique bonus to your employment.
At the start of each day, your company will post new open positions on SloppedIn, for which you will receive applications on through your SMail. Print them out or send them straight to spam if you like gambling (we don't want unlucky employees, do we?) to find the best match for each position. (PS: If you deleted all e-mails, press "Print All" to proceed to the end-of-day meeting.)
Carefully examine each CV or don't to vet out fake ones and to make sure unlucky people don't work for you:
- Use the ULS Database to check whether their Diplomas actually exist
even though they should have been expelled for their Thesis. - Search up their previous job on Gogol to
acquire themfind their number, and give them a quick call on your phone to chat about their experiences (by selecting the correct CV when asked which candidate to talk about). - After some time, you may even be able to have a quick meeting over MeetSlop with the candidates to find out whether they are motivated enough to
sell their soul to the companywork for you.
After "sufficiently evaluating" each candidate to make sure they are the best fit for that position, use your stamps (by selecting the correct position and experience using your scroll-wheel, inking the stamp using your ink-pad, and stamping it on your desk the correct CV) to hire them, or simply place their resume in the paper shredder where they belong.
Beware, as both open positions and bad hires make your stocks fall which is the last thing you want, but make sure you only hire as many personnel as we need, we aren't running a charity here now, are we?
At the end of the day, after evaluating all of today's candidates, you will hold a presentation to the board, where you'll be able to see the current stock value, and select the next company initiative. Choose wisely to make both the employees and the shareholders happy. Angering the former will make them leave the company, leading to even more open positions and lower stock, while making the latter dissatisfied with your performance will quickly lead to you being fired. Upgrades may include sorry excuses for employee happiness useful office upgrades that your employees are sure to enjoy, improvements to your interview process, illegal alternative methods for stock acquisition optionally at the price of your wagies' sanity, or even gambling revolutionary new techniques to vet out false applicants before they even apply.
After the meeting, a new day begins, where you'll hopefully still have a job. Such is the hamster wheel of life.
